What does the media affect public image of the human body?

We are in a difficult time specially for women. The marketing use women in bikinies to sell everything. There are specifics requirements for models to be succesful in the industry. Actresses and singers are forced to follow the parameters that the media has imposed like steps to build a succesful career in the entretainment business.

Now talent is not a discussion on the table. It is a plus if the artist or candidate to start a career has it. But is not required.  What really matters is if you are willing to get plastic surgery, work out, and be like a puppet, because the people that are in the top of the agencies and record companies are going to decide every single detail of your life.

Artist like Madonna in the 80's cautivaded the people owing to her unique way of express herself. But years later she confessed that she suffered bulimia and anorexy. These eating disorders have been for decades very popular in the entrateinment bussines. Mariah Carey, Britney Spears, Christina Ricci, Kelly Osbourne, Jessica Alba, Drew Barrymore, Christina Aguilera, Lady Gaga and Kelly Clarkson are some of the famous that have openly spoken about how to deal and confront this demon.

Some people are more susceptible than others. for the susceptible kind is easier to feel vulnerable and pushed to follow the fake imposed beauty point of view for a small group of people.

Teenagers are easier to believe all what they watch and see thorugh the media. Furthermore This certain ages move the youth to make everything to be accepted and fix in a group. They have been bombared with all the pop culture life style. Media tells you how you have to look and act if you want to be consider cool.

Education is having an important role against this public problem. People have to look more in the inside than in the outside and accept that everyone is different in a beautiful way. It is in the mix and particular details that live is enriched and interesting. Lady Gaga was right "I'm beautiful in my way cause God made not mistake, I'm on the right track baby, I was born this way"
